Experiencing an extraordinary event, whether in or outside of the workplace, can have a huge impact on a person’s mental health and his ability to cope and return to everyday life.
Psychological First Aid is a training program that was developed to help individuals learn how to provide immediate support and give short-term psychosocial care to every person in need in times of difficulty or emergency. It is a first-responder intervention that aims to help people recover by ensuring their safety, providing them with emotional comfort, and offering them assistance to address their immediate needs.
Learn how to administer Psychological First Aid using the W.H.O. approved method, RAPID (Reflective Listening, Assessment, Prioritization, Intervention, and Disposition).
